Resumen

Con base en la teoría de los modos musicales, la autora propone, a través de sus datos de investigación etnográfica, conceptualizar diversos modos performáticos en la trova yucateca como convenciones encorporadas que se expresan en diversos momentos dentro de patrones establecidos. Estos patrones son compartidos tanto por las y los performers como por su público, y aseguran la inteligibilidad de los performances.
