Abstract

The content of this issue of the magazine Alteridades responds to the interest generated by the political processes that characterized the elections held in Mexico in July 2018. A panorama where, on the one hand, citizen participation, although not extraordinary compared to other presidential elections, is important considering that 62.6 of the standard went to the polls. These results, provocative to reflect on the present and future of the country, have stimulated the interest of Alteridades in participating and contributing to the debate from a socio-anthropological perspective; for which a group of election process specialists have met in this issue of the magazine who together enrich the analytical mosaic of what happened in the 2018 elections.
