Metadata Policy
The journal implements a metadata schema with comparable information across all published articles to facilitate the discovery, collection, and use of the information. This metadata is displayed on the first page of each article and includes: title, authors with institutional affiliations and ORCID identifiers, publication dates, DOI, abstract, keywords, and journal information. Furthermore, this metadata is available for automated harvesting via the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives Initiative – Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), which enables collection by academic repositories and indexers.
To increase the visibility and discoverability of the content, articles must include a title, abstract, and keywords in both Spanish and English. When appropriate, the journal may encourage the inclusion of additional metadata in other languages.
