Abstract

The whole of the trials is part of what is generically called performance studies. As one of the constituent notes of the performance is the creation of the presence, the works are orientated to elucidate this phenomenon, but it deals particularly with the presence of the Unheimliche, german term discussed among others by Freud which alludes to the familiar that becomes strange, and has been translated as the ominous or the sinister. Hence the appearance in the texts already of the strangeness and presence of the gypsy in flamenco as emblem of the Spanish; already of the monstrous or certain conception of the text in the pastorelas Purépecha; either Unheimliche it in the theatre, in the machines, in the images and iconoclasm.
